Mikuni reality check

This is normal, right?

Looks just like this one from APE

I'm assuming this cut o-ring goes with the accelerator pump?

And I have leaky carb holders. Will the stock ones work, or do I need something special because of the Mikunis?

Thanks.

What carbs and bike? Nearly ALL kzs came with mikuni carbs (minus a few with keihin carbs) so you gotta be a littld more exact (bike model, carb size etc)

And what looks normal?

RS34s on a 1980 kz1000 LTD. The fuel supply tube between float bowls is not centered and is missing an o-ring.

I'm sure it isn't supposed to be missing the o-ring; but if you have had fuel in it, and it doesn't leak you should be okay. There's probably a second groove with an o-ring.

Being 34s you are most likely going to need something other than the stock boots, which are made for vm26-28 carbs. Probably ones from an 81-up 1000 which used bs34 carbs would work?

So i ordered what I thought were "new" oem carb holders off fleebay. They are rock hard, and look used to me. Do they come from the factory with cylinder head imprints burned in?

They are going back for sure, I'm trying to determine whether this was an honest mistake, or fraud.

JUNK, not as described. Leave a bad review after you get your money back including shipping. Can you post a link to your sale? I'd like to see who it is.

They came from badboy motorsports. Will post a link when I get home. Just ordered OEM from the dealership. Hopefully the third time is the charm.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configuration

I couldn't find them on Z1enterprises. I tried. That was my first choice. Just the older, smaller ones.
