Do you have a decent fuel filter installed? If not, some specs of crud may have gotten into a couple of the carbs and kept the float valves from closing.

It didn't have one when I got it but it will now.
They were pretty clean when I took them apart. What I found when I put them back together was that it looked like they had the wrong seats.
when filling up empty, the floats would jam up as there was to much angle. I ended up ordering seats from partzilla and they work great now.
I wish I would have taken pics to show what I mean. The holder that locks the seats in had two lock washers under it to raise the holder up because there was to much angle and it pinched the float keeping it from closing.
It looks like the needles and or seats where to long.
The new seats and holder fit perfect
