So I have a 1976 kz400 that needed the carbs rebuilt so I researched it and it looked as though the keyster kits were the most complete. Everything fits well except the float needle seat brass. I pulled the seats out since the kits have new ones and by looking at the old ones I realized they are not the same. The old ones have a slotted base the when pressed down can only go in one way but the new ones are round and will not go any deeper. Has anyone had this problem? I would normally just reuse the old ones but they were damaged when I removed them so maybe someone has a couple laying around? Any help would be greatly appreciated
