As above, your issue isn't about pods or airbox.

Contrary to popular beleif here, you can set up a bike to run nicely on pods, but takes some trial and error.
I've been told for the last quarter of a century I'll never run clean on pods, I disagree, all my bikes have them.

Slide carbs generally easier to tune than CV carbs.

Fiovanus, I've noticed when you fine tune with vac guages, the sound changes...you get that horny 'whom whom' sound off the throttle, a subtle difference that I noticed. Theoretically, if all your pots are very close compression and intake vac then guages would be uneccessary...in the real world 30 years later on a well used motor they are all a bit different.

Absolutely, me not syncing the carbs on my Goldwing is due to lazyness, and the kz is due to have a re-ring and head gasket, the majority of my bikes get fine tuned with a set of gauges, these two are just toys for now. Sync does bring more out BUT if it isn't running right at all; a sync most likely wont bring anything out, that's the point i was making.

my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

Hello !

I have a very good information :)

- Carburetors are syncronised and pilot screw at 1 1/4 turn.
I always have troubles when the "stater" if off ( trotle level is too hight and then go down and stop the motor)

But if the starter in "on" the motorcycles run perfectly ...

What should i do ? Run with the starter on? :)

Typically, that is an indication of a serious vacuum leak or the pilot circuit of one or more carburetor is clogged.

If you synchronized them withe the enrichener on, it will have to be done over once the current problem is solved.
