Hey guys I have a 79 kz1000 mk2 motor in my drag bike frame and am having carb issues it has 127.5 main jets and I don't know the pilot sizes but I ordered 117.5 mains and #20 pilots but my question is can I bypass the accelerator pump? And also how to adjust the needles in them? I know pumpers arnt that well to run for a drag bike but that's all I have right now lol

Is it a stock motor ? air box or pods ? what pipe?
28 pumpers are pretty good carbs, just a tad less power than 29 smoothbores
P.S. you should've posted this in the carburetor section
maybe one of the moderators will see this & move it

Sounds like your Carbs need Syncing.

I just posted that I am also having a problem with the Acceleration Pump. Mine is leaking from the Alcohol I. The Fuel Eating the Rubber. I want to know if anyone has Bypassed theirs.

You just posted on a five year old thread and the OP has probably long gone by now.
You should start a new thread in the help section for a better response but you can simply disconnect the pumper if it's leaking although new pumper diaphragms are available.
