Do you have the P8's? The 75 came with the O8, 5J9-2nd, 1.5 cutaway and 17.5 pilots. Pic of the bike?

Air box? I can barely see it. The forks look like a 76. Baffle? The carbs are set up for a 75. They ran a little stronger than the 73/74's and certainly better than the 76's.

Thanks for the tip! I've got it running great now.
Couple of problems I thought I had tried the 17.5 pilot jets but they were # 20 on the pilot jet. Then I tweaked the air screws till it was smooth. I ended up having to move the jet needle to the # 2 position because it was a little lean on acceleration.
Now at 30mph the air mixture is 11.8:1. At 60mph its about 12.5:1. I guess thats as good as it gets.

I ran my 28's for 20 years. No problems. I did have to change the float seats and needles when I went to 1015. Was running out of gas at WOT on the grade. I think I went from 2.0 to 2.5's.

"2.0-2.5" Are there different size needle and seats aavailable? Or are you talking about something else?
Mine was 903cc now it's 983cc. So far the fuel doesn't seem to run out but I haven't rode it much yet.

Yes, you can get larger seats. I ran them until I got my 33's. Always wanted to go bigger bore eventually.
