Looking for carburetor spec sheets for kz models was created by 00.
Hi, I'm looking for a sheet that shows stock carb jettings on all the kz650 years especially and other kz models. I have a sheet for Suzuki gs models that shows the number of the needle, jet sice, air jet, and all kind of info for all the different gs models and years. Is there some kind of a sheet like that for the kz models. Or does anyone have a list of the kz650 carb variations, which explains what needles and needle slides should be in each variation of carbs? it would be very nice to have this info. Thank you for any help on this.

The KZ650 models used a variety of carbs. The 1977 – 1981 KZ650 models used Mikuni VM24SS carbs (24mm) although the 1978 B2A and D1A models used Mikuni VM22SS carbs (22mm). Beginning in 1982 they used BS32 constant velocity carbs. Someone else may be able to elaborate on those later models.
The VM24SS carbs came in different flavors. Some had air screws; some had pilot screws, and some had both. Beginning in 1978 the VM24SS carbs came with accelerator pumps.
Here’s info that I have collected on the KZ650 carbs. Ed

Thank you so much for that info, Where did you find that sheet? I would like to get something like that for many other Kawasaki models such as the kz1000, H1, h2... Those sheets are priceless because most of the books don't have great clear info like that... Thanks again for this info, now I will know 100% what the correct jetting is in the kz650 carb, Thanks

I saw those big sheets on the internet a long time ago and saved images of them. Sorry, but I don't remember the source. Ed
