Jetting 1980 kz440 for Pods and 2 into 1 was created by kz440BratRider
Hey guys I wanna jet my Carbs in my kz440 and Im not sure how much i should go up on my Pilot or Main jet. I have a 2 into 1 exhaust with no muffler, just straight piped. Also i put some pods on it. What do you guys think I should do? I was thinking maybe up like 4-6 sizes on main and up like 2 on the pilot but im just guessing. Also do you guys know what the OEM size on the pilot jet is? It doesnt seem to say on the jet

Why don't you introduce yourself.
Running open exhaust and the wrong pods and you'll never
get it to run right.

If you have idling issues then I would start messing with the pilot jet. For now just start with the next size up on the main jets and if you have to, keep going up a size until you get it right. This job can be tedious ;)
