A look at the plugs at least. Any rust, tear it down.

If it is because of water, how does the tank look?

Morbid curiosity, do you have more pictures?

EDIT: Posted the picture in another forum. The consensus there seems to be that gas with high level of ethanol causes this..

I doubt that. I've seen carbs like that when bikes have been sitting outside for a long time. Yes, more pics.

sorry guys I've been so busy with work and i forgot i posted this i ordered some mikuni 32mm carbs came with new intake boots throttle cable and filters. The plugs looked good and the oil looked good as well, the engine turns over easily and it builds compression. I'm going to get a bore scope from work and look into the cylinders. The tank is clean and dry thinking about cleaning it again before i put fuel in it, do you guys want more pics of the carbs or anything in particular? I'm not to upset about what I've found so far since I got this bike for such a steal but theres a few things i won't be using. if i can find gaskets ill pull the heads still trying to source seats for my brake caliper and petcock
