Is there a rule of thumb on how many turns out you start with after a cleaning? I know the manual says like 1 1/2 . 81 CSR 1000

You start there then turn 1/4 one way or the other waiting 10 seconds in between for the carb to catch up. Once I get them where nothing changes, I rev it arouns 2500-3000 and take out the miss ether lean or rich.
That's how I do it.

On my 750, it's about 2 turns out from all the way in.
