Leak from carburetors 2,3 kz750 LTD was created by LTD_rider
Hello there guys.
Having a bit if a trouble with my 4 cylinder kz 750 ltd model 80.
I located a feul leak from carburetors 2,3. From what I see the leak is in between the
carburetors, where the main line from the tank is located. Petcock works ok. The bike
starts and operates smoothly. I a matter of seconds from starting, fuel starts to drip from the
bottom of the float chamber. During this process, there's no fuel outage form the overflow lines.
The bike stands for a prolonged period of times between rides.
Since the bile starts up, idles and rides so well I feel reluctant to dismantle that carbs unless there's no choice...
Any suggestions on how to approach the issue? I rather do the job myself and I use Haynes book.
Will I need to purchase special tools/ seals set for the job?
Thanks,
O

Make sure it isn't just the fuel line connection at the "T" inlet. Ed

Heavy suspicion falls on that T connector.
Seconds after startup it starts getting moist from fuel.
Any suggestion for solution?

Z1 Enterprises sells carb O-rings and gaskets. I think you need some of these for the fuel transfer tubes...KL18-4622-1 Keihin Carb O-Ring 5.8x1.9 (1)
