Hi I just wonder if anyone has done an EFI conversion for the 750 E1?
What throttle bodies can be used?

I seem to recall that Kawasaki produced, for their Japan-only market, a DFI KZ750 in 1981-82...I have only seen this bike in photos and there is almost no info on the internet regarding this model. As for what TB, I would imagine those from the turbo model (ZX-750 E1-E2) would do nicely.

I did see what was advertised on ebay uk as a factory prototype kz750R1 with fuel injection, sorry I can't find the listing.

EDIT snap! posted that together McDroid, perhaps the bike I saw advertised was jap home market Fi bike. I remember the listing had an advert in japanese.

There are a few old threads here regarding fuel injection conversions for kz 650 and 750.

There are a few guys on this site that have some great knowledge on the subject... one even goes buy the name "Injected" perhaps they will chime in. There is some great info on homebrew fuel injection systems out there but it takes a higher level of engineering and testing work to get them to run. There are a number of generic aftermarket options but they are not a simple bolt on and go modification either.

Here is a thread on a homebrew setup:

Then there are the generic kits like these:

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

I was thinking of using an Microsquirt setup.
By the way just to clarify the bike is a 750 4 cylinder ;)

But as said would be nice to hear from one that had actually done this before. ;)

I think Steele has done using Microsquirt it but he hasn't been around for a while. Dave Sloan is another name that rings a bell.

There's a long thread here

which should provide some pointers.
Good luck
