KZ1100-J to ZN1100 bathtub head, with BS34 carbs?

Will I have better success with the same BS34 carbs on my ZN Bathtub Head, running with the standard ZN cams, versus a set of 84 ZX-GPZ cams?
I heard I'll be losing some low-end performance with GPZ cams, but gaining some above that...anyone want to tell me what I'm in for, and how bad should I expect the low-end performance will be?
Most of my riding is in town, with an occasional ride in the country...Spring is near!

Bold the GPz cams to your J sprockets

Another LarryC quote from post #627628:
Kawasaki used different valve timing on different J Engine models. The GPZ 1100's all used 110 lobe centers. The cruiser 1000's used 105/108. The standard J used 105/108.
Larry, I'm not real-clear about what the above numeric information means, but I think it relates to valve open/close timing. Please correct me, or elaborate on the subject a little?
It appears I'm in good shape with the correct orientation of the GPZ sprockets (per that post), and have no valve to piston issues as-yet to deal with.
Are you suggesting the sprocket change, because you believe the J-sprockets will provide better overall (low-to-top end) performance, given my new (and potentially improved :woohoo:) engine configuration?
Regarding carburetors...will my BS34's handle sufficient beverage transfer for her new appetite?
This week, baby!!!

Like a GPz550 on steroids and crack.
They are arm-wrenching hooligan like fun to ride, just not ideal for riding around town and touring.
The zx1100 and 1100R ran on BS34's, many big GPz with defective EFI were converted to run on these CV carbs. There are much better carbs available for a price, but those will be fine.
