I have a set of 29MM smoothbores that I removed from my '78 KZ1000. Just wondering if they're a good carb to run on a KZ1000J?

Good carb but properly set up the stock J carbs should perform similarly. Would probably sell the vm29s and buy a more modern set up but that's just me.
But yup, pope catholic
