kz1100 ltd tubes on back of carbs was created by rarewolf
These tubes (or what used to be tubes) are jutting off the back of the carb assembly on my 83 kz1100 ltd. What are they for?

Could be from carb vent nipples that correctly exit to open air.

Could be vacuum ports for operating the Clean Air system and the petcock, in which case a couple of them need to be connected to those items and the others capped.
A factory service manual is the most important tool to have.

Item below showing vent tubing between carbs 1-2 & 3-4. On my 81 650-CSR the tubing is routed over the airbox shoulders and fitted snugly between the airbox & side covers; the left side has a frame clamp.
