I am getting ready to install pod filters and ive elimanted the air box. I plan on capping off the valve covers, but what do i do with the 2 vacuum lines on the carburetor intake manifolds? Can they just be closed off as well?

Don't toss out the airbox; you may decide to put it back on after a while. ;) Ed

If you have a vacuum petcock, run one of the vacuum lines to it, and cap off the other one. If you remove the airbox, and run pod filters, you will need to rejet. Once you see how much of a pain it is to remove that airbox, and then multiply that by 15 to get it back on, you'll run pod filters all the time.

I use fuel pipe to link the inlets 1 and 4 2 and 3 and put a T piece in on one pipe to the vacuum fuel tap.
