NEED LEAD ON CARBURETOR RESTORATION SERVICE was created by ZLTD
Purchased 1980 1000 LTD off of ebay. The bike ran but had carb problems. Restoration of the carbs is beyond my capabilities & would appreciate information on professional carburation restoration services that specialize in this type of work. Thanks!

He's very reliable and does good work......but as he is in demand don't expect a quick turnover

I'd NEVER send anything to WiredGeorge. For one thing he's expensive. Secondly, I know guys that used his service and the carbs were poorly done. One guy posted photos on GS Resources and it was shocking.
Speaking of GSR, I know a couple different guys there that are reliable and won't rip you off. If you need a contact PM me and I'll hook you up (or go to GS Resources and look these guys up yourself). What kind of carbs are these anyway? Standard VM28's? Is there an accelerator pump? I've done scads of Mikuni BS CV's and VM's and they are easy to deal with. Only trick is getting the proper O-rings and such.
