Hey all heres the issue i have. I used to have a Honda shadow and in an unfortunate accident it is no longer with us. I was moving to an island and got a deal on a 1980 KZ440 LTD. I have noticed that it is leaking gas out of the needle points out of what i am assuming are the Cabs. However it only does this when the gas valve is in the pr position not the on or res. Or when it is under pressure like when i start it.
Also when I went to take it to the mechanic (after forgetting the key and not making it in time) I started the bike and noticed it was idling at 4-6 thousand RPMs. It was so bad that i could not stop or even engage the clutch without it sounding like i was revving the engine.
So anyone out that can help i am open to advice. if i cant fix it it goes to the mechanic on Saturday. Oh and I am the least mechanically inclined individual for the record.
