If you're saying they'll trade you a set of CV34's ready to go for your old set and $100 I'd say that's a great deal. You won't find someone to rebuild yours for $100 even if the tower wasn't broke. Almost sounds too good to be true. How well do you know this shop?

My advice would be to go look at the carbs they are offering. Check the diaphragms if you can as they're expensive. Make sure the slides move freely. If you can look in the bowls make sure the floats aren't sunk(full of gas). Take yours with you to ensure the throttle brackets etc. are the same. If that's all good I would go for it. After that its small things. Worst case you do that and get 4 carb kits from Z1 enterprises and you're still under $200. If you've shopped around, you'll notice individual 34's don't show up that often.

Keep in mind no set of carbs will be bolt on and go. Once you get them, you'll set your float levels on a bench. Mount them, adjust your idle mixture and then sync.

There are more seasoned guys on here, they may chime in as well.

Yes I already know I am going to have them disassemble them for me to check them out before I'm willing to do this

Z1 Enterprises sells the various O-rings you will need for a rebuild. No way I'd dump a bunch of money on some inferior aftermarket carb kits when all you need is the rubber parts.

I hated my CV34s, they were hard to find parts for. I'm much happier with Mikuni BS34s!
