will kz750 4cyl carbs fit a twin?? was created by thunder92
Just picked up 2 kz750 twins with no carbs. Can I buy 1 kz750 4cyl carb separate it and use on both bikes.
Stupid question? Probably.
Thanks

No. If a guy was to try, he'd need extra parts anyway.
It would be much simpler to go ahead & get 2 sets of Twin carbs.
Or just get 1 set for now & worry about the 2nd set later.
You can probably use the carburetors from any 750-Twin (1976-79 750B, 1980 G, 82-84 M/K).
An industrious sort w a machine shop might be able to convert a 4-cyl rack to one set of carburetors for the Twin --- but for a second set, extra brackets and throttle & choke linkage n stuff are going to be needed.

You seriously do not want to put 34mm four cylinder carbs on a 750 twin that uses 38mm from 76-80 and 36mm from 82-84. That would be a large step up from the venturi to the port.
I have a spare set of carbs that I believe are off a 1980 750G, but I would want serious change for them. Keep checking eBay for a set or two.
Or use mid 2000s Yamaha R6 38mm throttle bodies, they are CV throttle bodies and look like carbs. Then convert to EFI using a MicroSquirt

Bought some on ebay for $75. Should be here today. Thanks though. EFI sounds like a fun conversion but maybe over my head.
