Fuel valves in between carbs plugged or not?

Ok on my 1982 kz750n there are little fuel valves that swivel that connect 1&2 carb and the other connects 3&4. Are they overflows or do the need to be plugged or something else. The part number for the valves are 92005b on bike bandit if that helps. Thanks for any info I can get on this

If the fittings are Tees, then those are the vents & tubing should be connected to each one w the other ends open to atmosphere. On my bike each vent tube is routed over the airbox shoulders and fitted snugly between the airbox & side covers. I don't know how yours should be routed.
FYI: the number you provided is the diagram reference number, not a part number.
I use the diagrams at Partzilla --- the vent fittings are #92005-1054.

Route the tubing so that rain water won't get in.
