Good morning everyone,
I recently bought a 1980 kz1000 driveshaft. Im learning as much as I can about the bike. a lot of this is new to me, but i love taking on the challenge and building something of my own.

I just put pods on and its running super lean, i knew this would happen. I have the stock exhaust,

Could someone tell me what size of jets I need to order to accomodate the new pods?

I would greatly appreicate it thanks!

There are to may variables unfortunately for anyone to give you the answer you are looking for. Most will tell you to put the air box back on. On a stock motor with stock exhaust you won't gain anything with pods other than looks. Best thing to do is search for "pods" and read the hundreds if not thousands of posts related to pods. It's a trial and error thing. Good luck.

Try 125 mains and 17.5 pilots. This is close and should get you riding again
