Is there a web site or forum that explains how the fuel injection works & tips on repairing it on an 83 GPZ1100 ?
78-KZ1000/1105, 80 KZ1000, 82 Kawasaki GPZ750, 95 Harley Fatboy, 80 Suzuki GS1100ET, 81 GS1100E parts bike, 83 GS1100SD Katana/1394,78 Yamaha XT500, 81 Yamaha XS650, 78 Yamaha XS650E, 48 Whizzer model J motorbike, 71 Honda CT70H, 71 Honda CT70, 81 IT 250 Yamaha,82 Honda XL100S owned

What needs repairing ? Lots of members with GPZ 1100s here, I'm sure someone can answer your questions,

1980 LTD 1000..,1976 LTD 900, have the 1000&900 now. the rest are previous= 1978 KZ 650 B.., 1980 Yamaha XT 500..,1978 Yamaha DT 400.., 1977 Yamaha yz 80..,Honda trail ct 70.., Honda QA 50...5-1/2 hp brigs & straton CAT chopper mini bike...3-1/2 hp mini bike (WHEN GAS WAS ABOUT 45 CENTS A GALLON)!!!!

What seems to be the problem? No accelleration. or bogging? Won't idle? Fouls sparkplugs?

I had an 83 gpz1100 with the same issue. I took all 4 injectors out and sent the to Injector R/X. I think they are in Florida. they tested them before and after. before, I had about 60% blockage. they ultrasonically cleaned them and sent them back within about 2 weeks total. WOW!!! what a difference. it was only about $20 or so per injector. worth a try for that price.

If you want some good info on the system, and how it works, Google "Bosch L-Jetronic" it will come up several technical Bosch written papers.
By all means post up your issues.
