I have run my bs34 with 127.5 mains and 40 pilots and always ran great. There are no markings on the needle.

7 clip lands? no stampings and machining marks. Just a guess, but I'd say its a custom made needle . Nice!

Doesn't look like a OEM needle to me. Maybe came in a rebuild kit? On mine, the OEM needles are no longer available and the rebuild kit had "sorta like it" needles in it.

People have asked how to get pods and bs34 to work with a header but I cant tell you because The needles where in these carbs when I got the bike.

Look like a Dyno Jet needle to me. Somebody put a jet kit in it. That's the reason they worked.
