I'm rebuilding the carbs from my 1982 KZ750 H3 LTD and need the correct float height and air mix screw turns open. These are Keihin carbs, and I believe they are CV34 carbs.

Thanks!

Thanks, but I don't have the special gauge they mention. I'm looking for the dry height I can set before putting the float bowls back on.

Search clear tube method on this site, or YouTube, or even Google it for that matter. There's not anything exotic needed, just a clear tube, and a way to.mark a reference line on the Carb bowl

Mine:
04 Honda rebel 250(wifes)
04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition, headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

Thanks! Just what I was searching for! Another question - what is the range of fork air pressures for this bike? It has the "air ride" front suspension.

The manual I have is for a KZ750 FOUR H1 , the standard is 8.5 PSI however it can range from 7.11 to 14.22 PSI, hope this helps.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Perhaps a free manual download from one of these sites will suffice until acquiring a genuine factory FSM covering the bike at hand.
