Have i struck gold? Pilot jets kz750 kehin?

Have anybody tried these pilot jets?

One big reason I ditched my Keihins and got a rack of Mikuni BS34s was that I just couldn't find parts for the Keihins.

Please please... let it be the unobtanium pilot jets!

i have ordered a set of four just to try them out.
Not from that particular web page though, since i took the part number (N424-25B)
And found a dealer in here in Sweden.
As I said the are not the same as the OEMS but from what i have Heard supposed to fit.
I will know for certain when they arrive.

Did the pilots work?

So now I can write my report

The jets are just by looking at them nearly identical, (they looked so similar that I did not take any measurements)
The only thing that seemed to differ where the length of the emulsion tube, but the tube has the same amount of holes in them so the function would possible be alright.

I believed in those jets but I rely should have measured the outside diameter of the head.
When I tried to put one inside one of my carbs, the jet went in just far enough for me to believe it was time to screw the jet in.
I was mistaken, the jet had only sized in the tube, and when I turned the jet it looked up against the hole.
It tock me the better part of an hour the get the bugger out of there again.

It is possible however if I had filed down the outside diameter of the jet it maybe would have worked.
But I need to measure the treads carefully to know that. (and I have just put my bike back together)
So it will possible be some time again.

Thanks for the update. We will wait for further data. Perhaps you can take a picture of both jets side by side?

That I could do, and probably will, since it seems that my near new intake rubbers have failed.
(impossible to synchronize the carbs correctly)
And when I have them "synchronized" one carb is completely closed and holds the remaining carbs open.
meaning idle at 1500rpm and the idle screw fully removed.

Sucks to say the least.
But anyway the bike runs so now we just wait for crappy weather and I will be tearing it down yet again.

(this time I will take pictures and measurements)
I will try to file one jet down and see if it fits as well.
