rejett? with sportster mufflers

i have a 79 kz400 and the back end of my pipes are roached,and i happened to have a set of stock sporty pipes tnhat have the cross member,im wanting to use the muffler only and was wondering would this normaly need to be rejetted?

Do the mufflers have any baffles or packing or anything inside?

yes there is baffles that have been opened up slighty

I'd be willing to be you could get away with not jetting. You can put a 4-1 pipe with a baffled exhaust on a lot of bikes and no jetting is required so with you just replacing muffler I'd say your safe. Cheers.

I agree, with such a simple change I doubt you would need to rejet. Be sure and read your plugs after riding it a bit with the new pipes.
