single pod on kz400?

checking to see if anyone has tried a single pod filter on their kz400,i was thinking of making a 2into 1 fitting out of copper or pvc,curious how this works with stock jets

I've seen people put a single carb on a KZ400/440, but never a single pod on dual carbs. I'm pretty sure it would be horrible, though. The carbs would tend to produce a venturi action on the intake strokes - I'm pretty sure you'd just end up with a gas soaked mess in the central filter.
