Hey,

Got the TK-26 Carbs off my Spectre. Started looking through the the float bowls. #1 one was pretty clean, and barely any residue, some minor rust on the float assembly. When i took #2 apart, the main jet had fallen out into the bowl, who knows how long it was out for. #2 cylinder was dry when i got the bike, turned it over and then pulled the plugs.

Shouldn't the other jet feed the cylinder when it is starting. I know that the dropped jet was probably why it was running rough when i test drove it, but would it cause any issues during starting? Because the bike was tough to start when I got it too.

Stock airbox set up.

Also looked like the main jet was a 120, is this factory standard anyone know? I don't see specs in my service manual.

The main jet has no effect on startup.
You should have a choke circuit or enrichment circuit, plus a pilot circuit, which are active during startup.
