KZ550 do Zephyr 550 carbs fit?

just interested if the Zephyr550 carbs would fit a KZ550?

Depends on which KZ550. The later motors have wider-spaced screws on the intake manifolds. This makes it possible to use the larger carbs. The older motors won't let you install the wider intake manifolds.

So my engine number is KZ550DE0001X.
It should be a GPZ550 engine,right?
What is the HP?
So I can only use the Tk21/22 carbs?

From the engine no. info at CycleChaos, I guess the bike is an 81 KZ550-D1 ?
The max hp listed there is 58 hp @ 9000 rpms.

Try the VIN search at Kawasaki.com -->> Owner Info -->> Parts diagrams -->> etc

Harm, I think the ZR550B uses Keihin CV30 carbs.
