Im looking for a set 29mm smoothbore carbs for my 76 kz 900 any ideas where I could get a set or point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Nathan

There is only one set currently but ebay is typically a good source. This thread should help you learn what to look for when it comes to the slides and such...

Nessism are you talking about the keihin carbs. If so which are the better carb keihin or mikuni. Thanks for your time.

"Smoothbore's" are Mikuni's. VM29's. They were very popular back in the day. I'm not a modding guru so can't comment on all the various carbs on the market, but if making the move to some newer carbs I'd go for RS Mikuni's. 34's maybe for a relatively stock bike. Larger for modded bikes but again, I'm not the best source of info on such matters.
