Restoring this KZ, Engine rebuilt, head ported, stock cams, will run the Kerker exhaust and air pods. My questions is, I have 4 sets of carbs and need some ID on the sets and the jet sizes to run for best all around performance. Carb ID's are as follows:
carb id# 450-30, 102.5main jet,15 pilot jet, this set has air and pilot screws
carb id# z12-00, 120 main jet,17.5 pilot jet, air screws only no pilot screws
carb id# 31, 29mm smooth bores with 120 main jet, 20 pilot jets, air screws only no pilot screws
carb id# h7x, still on my hardtail 1075 with Andrews cams installed, no air screws but they have pilot screws, no jet identification yet but I suspect larger jets due to the performance of the bike, will id jets at first opportunity. I intend to put the smoothbores on the cammed up 1075 motor and install one of these mentioned sets on the bike I have attached a picture of, just wondering which of these sets of carbs would be the best choice. can anyone help?
