z1r turbo fuel Weber45 or not? was created by mrdatsunturbo
what is the best set up on fuel side on z1r turbo?
Is it OK to drive around with Pingel Valve or will it be better to do an electric pump ?
If electric what
pressure will be best for the carb? and have somebody tried weber 45 on this engines?

I run a Pingle valve and motor doesn't starve for fuel on the street without running my fuel pump.
I put a Mikuni 42mm flatslide HSR carb on my bike when the old carb died. I will be getting the float bowl extention kit which increases the fuel available to the motor . Fuel pump pressures are around 3 PSI and I feel needed for dragstrip type passes so the motor doesn't go lean under hard boost conditions.

For more professional advise check out Mr Turbo website. And talk to Terry Kiser the owner and former race buddy of mine. He is doing turbos everyday

all atp kits came with a buzz box fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator .....using a bendix/zenith psi was limited to 2 lbs or less for street applications.... turbo's need a constant/ smooth fuel supply ..... racing/ drag strip kits used a bigger pump with more psi ......... all my turbo bikes have a pump & regulator...... cheaper than toasting a set of rings :S .IMO :S .............mikuni 42 mm flat slide is a way better carb. "Any idea where i can by?" The watermark in the background of the regulator/pump picture says "JC Whitney"
