Base pilot screws setting for 4xCV34 was created by karoliens
What is the base pilot screws setting for 4xCV34 carbs? I started for couple of times it idles but if I accelerate RPS suddenly jump and stay high.

Typical "racing idle" issue is often caused by leaking carb holder, or possibly loose clamp.

Factory setting is 2 turns out from lightly seated.
Like Patton says with the racing idle look for an air leak, loose hose clamp etc or check for a snagged throttle cable.

Cable is OK. So 2 turn out pilot jet. And what about idle. left it loose or screw in? I tried to left it loose and pilot 2 turns out. It started but after some idling died. Choke was on. What RPMs should be when cold and start with choke on?

2 turns out on the pilot air mix screws on the top front of the carbs.
You can only really set the idle speed with the big black knob at the bottom back of carbs between carbs 2 and 3 when the bike has warmed up fully and the choke is off. After bike is warmed up ( perhaps 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes ) and idling without choke the idle speed should be set at about 1100 - 1200 RPM.
If you are rebuilding or not sure then it is best to start experiments with the big black idle adjusting knob in the middle of its range and then adjust in or out when the motor is fully warmed up

Starting with choke fully on then the idle speed will vary depending on starting technique. I can start with full choke and the idle speed may go to 2000 RPM and I will bring the choke lever down to 3/4 and then 1/2 always keeping the idle speed close to 1500 RPM. The last half of the choke lever travel is just high idle. I will ride with 1/2 choke but others say wait until bike is fully warmed up. I usually shut choke totally off after 2 km.

Apologies if I misunderstood your question and hope this helps

First...those are fuel, NOT air screws on CV34's. Start with at least 3 turns out from lightly seated and adjust from there. That is providing you have stock size pilot jets. Everything seems to want more fuel these days. The pump gas is pure $hit :)

You can only accurately adjust the pilot fuel screws when the engine is fully up to temperature.

+1. 2 1/2 - 3 on the mixture screws is a good starting point. What you are reporting is a sign that you are running lean, which means turning the screws out (CCW) to richen the mixture. I normally go 1/2 turn at a time until it settles down.

OK, thank you for the info guys. I will take your advice. Also when I cleaned carbs noticed that pilot jet plastic plug's o rings are worn:

Is it possible to get new o rings or whole plugs?

Wired George might have some. Perhaps Z1E as well. Might even be able to get OEM but you might have to buy the plug to get the O ring. Look it up on one of the sites. Kawasaki, Bike Bandit...etc
