1978 A2 carb type

There should be an ID stamped on the flange just below the choke lever, or on the same flange on the outside of carb#4.

As an example like this

Thanks for the help guys ! I'm out of town working for a month but I'll take some pix when I get back in and post them for help with further I'd since there was such a variance in different carbs that year.

Where is a chart for these stamped numbers on flange? Mine read 120 and 1 under that

I am trying to build such a table but do not yet have enough data/info to post it. I will say I think the 1201 carbs were most likely stock on a 79 or 80 model. But again I do not yet have enough data to tell you that for a fact.

If it makes any difference in identifying these carbs there was no accelerator pump on them.

I posted a couple pics I had on my phone. I'm going too see of my pops will get some numbers off the carb flanges for me since I'm out of town working. I'll get back to you guys with numbers.
