Does this bike run good like this? That is lean. I run 20/120 with that set up. Do you have the baffle in and wrapped?

I would order the same size jets. That was a old school trick to have bigger jets on the inside cylinders. On some bikes it was opposite and it was bigger jets on the outside.

Make life easy and install same size jets all around.

I'm running the baffle wrapped right now I want to take it out and just run the end cap it seems to run ok I live in arizona and we are about sea level if I pull the baffle out should I step up the jets my carbs don't have accelerator pumps so the jets are doing everything

If you are happy with the way the bike runs and it doesn't have a flat spot around 4700 -5000 RPM I would leave it alone. If you remove the wrapping you will probably need bigger jets.

Put the bigger pilot jets in the 2/3 cylinders.

I always thought the bikes of that year were very lean because the rules for emission were getting a lot stiffer.

The bike probably has different carbs on them. If you wanted to check the position of the needle clip you probably would find the clip has been raised.

I should have stated that if you use the current jets put the bigger ones in the middle. If you order new jets I would use the same size jets on all cylinders.

And I should have said you will probably find the clips lowered.

It was a long day yesterday. I was up 24 hours.

For the curious, the bigger jets on the inside cylinders is to keep those cylinders a little rich, which (theoretically) keeps the cylinders a little cooler.

So, as pointed out, if you run the dissimilar jets, make sure they are on cylinders 2 & 3. Personally, I'd switch them all out to the larger size (order two new larger jets) and have the same jet sizes on all four carbs.

The 76 carbs weren't lean but everything after that was. Ive run 115s in my 1105 motor for 35 years both at sea level and in Mt, @ 3500 ft. Id leave it like it was with the 117.5s in the middle. What ever runs good for you
