My gas tank is dirty and the sender and petcock is removed. What can I use for a temporary fuel tank to test fire and tune? I have a Walmart, Advance Auto, and Lowes just down the street. Any thoughts?

It's called a nurse tank. Available commercially, but I made mine.

I use an old plastic gasoline tank from a lawnmower.

(Some lucky folks have in their workshops an old Telescoping Mobile Hospital Bedside Medical Drip Stand -- sometimes available inexpensively from a medical surplus outlet).

But us commoners just rig a hanger strung from a overhead rafter or stepladder or whatever.

Good Fortune! :)

An auxiliary fuel tank from Z1Enterprises would be good, but i use a lawnmower tank. Like Patton's, mine is plastic. It's kinda heavy duty & has a tubing nipple projecting from the bottom. It's sort of a nuisance to secure it, though, and you can't be careless about it... a fire would be the pits.
