So after doing alot of reading about two into one intakes and my carburetors giving me hell I figured why not give it a shot and see what happens . 2 into 1 intake on a kz750 twin using a 1999 suzuki rm125 2 stroke carburetor I pulled off an old bike I had . Everything is fitting together but there is an issue. My rm125 carburetor has a powerjet on it with an electrical wire. What on earth do I do with the power jet? I have seen this done with a honda cr125 carburetor but not sure if it had a powerjet on it or not .

Those get hooked up to the "flux capacitor". :) :) :)

Sorry my Kawasaki Brother, I had to do it. Hopefully someone will chime in for you though.

Can anyone explain to me the differences in using smaller diameter tubing vs larger tubing in an intake system . Also wondering if you were using larger tubing and put a small tube section in the middle to join the larger tubes, what effect would this cause ?

The whole intake and exhaust system is flow tuned. Getting it right is black magic. I wouldn't have a clue how to do it. I have read some stuff about it, but it's more art than science.

In general, narrowing the flow diameter increases flow velocity and creates a low pressure area. That's the basic principle of how a carburetor works (Bernoulli principle).

I read that making an intake tube bigger can cause bogging . Hopefully my ghetto design will work .

Okay so I really need some help figuring out the jetting for this carburetor I am running. Its a keihin pwk 36 from a Suzuki 2 stroke. My bike idles at about 2500-3000 rpm ( when I can get it to fire). As I had expected I am running waaaayyy too rich. I can wipe fuel off my exhaust tips lol . I do not want to jump too far and end up running too lean to wear I cause engine problems. As of now the main jet is 180, pilot is 55, and the needle is at the top most position but I will most likely change the needle out to one alittle thicker. Any thoughts on what I should switch the main and the pilot to? I understand that this is kind of a shot in the dark, but someone with more knowledge in this area is very very welcomed to chime in lol

You have a 2 stroke carb, it's a different animal. You should do some research before you
make any changes from stock. Your probably going to end up changing the pilot jet, slide,
main and needle. You'll need to do a search here on KZRider and other sights like do the ton
and chop cult etc...
