I have an 81 kz305. there's a clear fuel line with a fuel filter coming directly from the tank, if I move the line I can see air bubbles coming into the fuel tank from the carb. is this normal, doesn't seem like it should be happening. first thing to check?

Doesn't hurt anything, sometimes they burp out of there or even work there way up the line. I just put new clear yellow fuel line on mine and mine does it. No lean issues at all on mine.

There should be vents into the bowls on your carbs to help prevent this. It shouldn't hurt anything, especially if you are using an in-line filter.
