Hey all just a few quick questions as I am replacing my hoses.
According to this diagram: www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/19...f/o/m150602#sch38455
Part 35- airflow hoses (about 5 inches), pretty self explanatory.
Part 33- going to petcock/fuel filter. I am going to keep these sizes the same. Correct me if I am wrong but is this a fuel filter in between my petcock and carbs? Should I look into replacing it?
43- now this is the one that is confusing me. I didn't take pics when I took it apart so I am not sure if this needs to be a certain length, also if the other end is connected to something...
Thanks

Could try these:
35 -- both vent hoses exit to open air
33 -- fuel line
43 -- vacuum hose to petcock
Imo, a better in-line fuel filter:
In-line filter fits in the fuel line whereby fuel from the petcock flows through the filter before reaching the carbs.
Good Fortune!

A precise length isn't critical on any of the mentioned hoses.
Should be fitted long enough to be free of any kinks.
Good Fortune!

The bike probably uses 5/16" fuel line, so get a fuel filter of the same size. The one in the photos here is 1/4" & the plastic is affected by gasoline w ethanol (not sure how the plastic holds up against gasoline without ethanol).
The next time I get a fuel filter, I'm going to get a metal bodied type w a sintered bronze element that can be cleaned or replaced. Russell is one brand.
Fuel filter note. Get one suitable for motorcycles or carbureted engines. Some from the auto parts stores don't flow enough fuel.
