They look like KEIHIN CV34 carbs to me - and it looks to me like they'll clean up fine with a little love and attention.

But it's been a long time since I worked on one of those, and my memory could be off.

Good luck with your project.

My wife asked me if I still loved her - I said "Honey, I love you more than new carburetor boots ! "

I dont know what they are but from one pic it looks like they are from something that has the cylinders tilted a lot more forward than what most of us here are riding.. Something like an FZR750 from the late 80s ?????

Well I guess I'll finish cleaning them up then see if they work . If not then I'll sell them. If I can get $250-$300 for them then my project coast will be down to $0. :)

whats the inlet i.d.? you need to measure them for model

they look to be miks off a mid 90's suzuki gsxr 750/1100 rf 900's carbs used on whats called a down draft head.... angle of the floats pretty much makes them useless for anything else.......BTW, I still have this set (pic) for sale and I've been asking $125 and they are perfect ...... I'm not trying to sell these here, I'm just saying :S like these in the pic below........

Thank you for responding #turboking I've been wondering what these are for. I guess their not worth as much as I thought. So there's no way to use these on my 1980 KZ750E project? The carbs you have look very similar with some subtle differences but your probly right

You can probably use them even without a downdraft head. Just need to get the jetting right. Do they line up with the manifolds?

the floats would be at an angle on a kz750, not level....the cylinders are slanted forward on the suzuki's and the bottom of the fuel bowl flange sits level .. hold the carb as they would fit your kz 750 ...... see the difference   .......you can't get the float level correct :S ..... that equals fuel problems :pinch:

I used gsxr1100 34mm carbs on my z1000ST.

they worked ok with standard Suzuki jetting. I used z1000j inlet stubs.

They were a bit lacking in power around 5-6k but were fine low down and a top end.

Its worth giving them a go to see how they run on your bike.

regards
Craig
