KZ turbo carb part identification? was created by K.D. HART
This was screwed into the side of my Zenith carb where the choke plate attaches (if it had a choke) and I'm not sure what it is?
The long brass piece looks like a one way valve, maybe? It has "Clippard" stamped on it.
The brass 90 has a piece that can be screwed out. It looks kinda like a valve in a tire, but it's a jet.
Maybe this was to prime the bike for starting????
The carb goes to this bike.

where did it locate in the carb body?
It could be a couple of things.
- Many had a primitive primer that dumped raw fuel into the throat of the carb.
- The carb on my bike also modified for water/alcohol injection. There was a tank on the front of my bike that would be pressurized under boost via a hose from the manifold. The output from the tank was controlled by a small inline jet before being squirted into the carb.

Jeff,
The first owner e-mailed me back last night and said, it was part of a water injection setup.
Thanks.

I took the water/alcohol injection off my bike when I installed the Dyna 2000 ignition system. Having an electronic retard to help manage detonation is a lot easier than messing with the water injection.
