Enzyme Fuel Treatment - Star brite Star Tron was created by GPZ1100_Rider
Hi:
I'm getting ready to put my bikes away for the winter. I usually treat the fuel with a cocktail of Chevron's Techron and Marine Formula Sta-Bil. Bikes have sat up to six or so months without any issues come spring. However, I thought that I'd give this Star Tron a shot, so I bought a bottle of it tonight. Does anyone have any good experience with this additive for storage usage?
Thanks,
Marty

I use marine sta-bil in everything except the wife's newer Explorer. My brother uses Star Tron in his bikes....differences....I dunno. Both seem to work with the 10% ethanol junk they sell us here.
I have never had any issues using either.....but I go for Sta-bil. A friend of mine uses it in his exotic cars that sit more than they are driven. It was recommended to him by his mechanic. I figure it should be ok in my bike if its good in a 200K Lamborghini.
I found this thread with some good info on Star Tron.

They are both probably good. One of those half dozen vs. 6 kinda things.

I use the star Tron in my Stihl weedwacker/string trimmer, seems to negate the Ethanol in the gas. Had the trimmer for two years & starts right up.
