Any suggestions for an air cleaner element that will fit a '77 kz200? I've only been able to find one NOS on ebay, but wondering if anyone knows if another later model will fit.

Take a look at the VIN stamped in the steering neck of your bike. Hopefully, it will start with your bike's model number. If your bike is a KZ200-A it is probably a 1978 model, even if built in 1977. If that is the case, the KZ200 A1, A1A, and A2 air filter elements fit. If you haven't done it already I suggest you buy the NOS one from eBay if it is still available. Otherwise, you may need to order one from a website in Australia where the bikes were more popular. Here's a site there that claims to have one of the filter elements. Ed

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI see a listing for a K&N for the KZ200, then you could clean and re-oil it.

Make sure its in stock on bike bandit before purchasing. I've ordered an air cleaner element from them before that was discontinued and never removed from their site. It took them a month and a half to refund me :S

+1 on this. Bikebandit has a history of collecting your money and then checking to see if it is available from Kawasaki. These large e-tail stores don't necessarily keep any of these parts in-stock, but rather order them from Kawasaki. If you check with Kawasaki first, you could save yourself a lot of grief. On our (KZRider) site is a very nice tutorial on how to use the Kawasaki site ( www.kawasaki.com ) for availability of parts...

All the on-line stores go to the same warehouses for their parts. None carry OEM parts in stock. Use the ones that offer the best deals and the best service. BikeBandit is exactly that, a bandit, having some of the highest prices on the net.
