First, loosen the carb clamps -- very loose -- and apply Armor All to inside surfaces of carb holders and to outside surfaces of carb.
May alternatively use silicone lube or WD40.
Would avoid petroleum based products.
With the lubricating agent, carbs should push readily into position inside the holders.
Remember to later tighten the clamps.
