Carb Cleaning - Disassembly was created by PaulyWally
If I am going to do a carb dip, can someone tell me if either of these parts need to be removed from the carb? I pulled the big one (needle jet?) out of one. There was a rubber washer that would probably need replacing. But because it was so difficult to remove, I wasn't sure that I was supposed to.

Leave them, but wash them out good with carb cleaner and blow all orifices with compressed air. Make sure all the small holes are clean. You can use a small wire or cutting torch tip cleaner(use the tip that is closest size to hole or smaller, but not bigger) being careful not to open up the holes to a bigger size. Good luck.

The main jet that you took out should be the only one with a rubber o ring on it

The smaller tube in your photo is the starter jet. As stated, don't remove it, its pressed in and could easily be damaged by trying to remove it.
