Not sure what size stock are.You should get a manual, get all the same filters.Buy filters that use oil on them, like k&n.Remove the carbs, clean float bowls,& make sure all the ports are clean by blowing air through them.Pull your main jets,& pilot jets to make sure the little holes in them are clean. If its running lean it usually is popping. If its rich, its chugging.Smell the exhaust. Also, just because the plugs don't look bad, doesn't mean there not fouled.Spend 24$ for a couple sets of plugs before you start tuning.

Perhaps one of the less expensive EMCO pod sizes will fit.

Some pod designs are prone to obstruct holes at carb intake, and therefore require careful attention -- and possible trimming -- when installing them.

Can usually find stock jet sizes on kawasaki.com.

Pods plus 4>1 may perform better with one size or perhaps two sizes larger main jet.
Sometimes the stock pilot jet is okay, or perhaps one size larger.

Spark plug readings provide good evidence as to optimal jet sizes.

Good Fortune! :)
