1978 kz650 C2 Airbox

All,

Long time looker, brand new member :woohoo: . Great forum guys!!! Anyway, to the nitty gritty. Last weekend I bought a 1978 KZ650 C2. Really clean, 18k+ miles. However there is no air cleaner. It has the pods. I would like to go back to the stock configuration. Is there anyone that has an Airbox for this model? Thanks for all of the help everyone.

Welcome aboard! Going back to stock airbox is a smart move. If you don't find one here you may want to try www.kz650.info/index.php . That site focuses on KZ650 bikes. Some of its members are also members here (as I am), but there are lots of other folks there with KZ650's who might be able to help. Ed

I have searched everywhere for an airbox. Noone has one. If there is anyone on here that can help me.....please, I need your help. Are there any other air cleaners I can use? like off of a 750? thise are everywhere.

Not sure if that will fit. Its from a 79 and looks pretty rough but maybe you can do something with it?
