ok so i finally got a spark (i hope its strong enough), my carbs are rebuilt (dont know if the adjustments are right) and i just realized my Carburetor Holders had holes in it, so i ordered some new ones. Any other tips for first start up would be greatly appreciated.

If you just go the bike I would od the following.
1. Change oil and filter.
2. Change spark plugs.
3. Drain gas from tank and if needed clean out tank and re-fill with good gas.
4. Disassemble and clean the carburetors REALLY well.
5. Check, clean and adjust points if applicable.
6. Check, clean, lube timing advancer.
7. Replace air filter.
8. Check and adjust valve clearances if needed.
9. Check and adjust timing chain tensioner.
10. Replace tires and tubes if applicable.
11. Replace drive chain.
12. Clean and lube every cable.
13. Check and if needed replace brake pads / shoes.

Including information about bike year and model is helpful to viewers and usually elicits better responses.
It's easy to put the information in your signature where it shows in all posted messages, past and future.

The two hoses from the carb vent nipples exit to open air.
The original air box has molded-in clips on top of the air box to retain the hoses.
Good Fortune!
