My 82 KZ 1100 d2 spectre seems to run really well, thanks to you guys advise on dialing the carbs in after rebuild Number 2 exhaust head pipe doesn't seem to warm up as well as the rest of em, close but yet still off a bit. The Touch test, FINGERS. If I lean out the 2 carb a bit do you guys think it would help,,, Thanks ...Stan Im getting 38 mph at this time... Today I added Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas and oil to see if we make any performance gains

i had a problem similar... only the exhaust on the right bank was cherry hot and the other seemed normal. what i did was take the timing advance cover off and squirt a little oil on the pivot points of the timing advance. after that they evened out real nice

Try redoing the spark plug wire connections at all points. Or go ahead & replace the plug wires. If the coils are stock, you might want to replace those as well... stuff gets old.
